WAUQUIEZ 55 PS (WAUQUIEZ- France) 

The prestigious Wauquiez shipyard hoards in its new Pilot Saloon 55 all the acquired experience of its famous models. Greater, faster and now more comfortable; Almost 18 meters of length able to offer nears space that us leave stupefied by their habitability, luminosity and comfort. Really, a luxurious represented truly oceanic sailboat in Spain by the Sport company.

Sailboat simply fantastic and thought by true navigators and for authentic fans to the height navigation, without for that reason resigning nor an apex to the total comfort. He comes equipped with foque solent autovirante and scrollable major of vertical sabers, which allows to accurately fit the warlike power based on the conditions of the moment.

The maneuver is comfortable and without effort thanks to electrical his winches located to each side of the bathtub and on both supports of the wheels of rudders. Next to them are all the stoppers to be able to handle the two candles of prow, major and spi or to genaker without having to leave the zone of maneuvers. The boat offers a great sensation of robustness and security, combined with practical solutions they allow that it to even handle in pair or by a single person.

To the first glance we will appreciate the elegance of its high cover that welcomes a comfortable bathtub and effectively protected, and in that is completely separated the maneuvers of the zone in which to rest and to enjoy navigation. The bridge totally is covered in teka Burman and shows two extensive lateral corridors that lead until the zone of prow.

The generous sweet water tanks of 800 liters and fuel with 415 liters are thought for the great cruise. The quality of construction is exceptional with a helmet constructed by the infusion method which allows to obtain a monolithic boat able to accept the efforts of its powerful warlike plane. His Berret-Racoupeau architect defines, it as a powerful and safe boat, with a sharpened prow able to confront the hardest conditions of navigation.

The new PS55 also has been designed with their characteristic arc that allow to integrate part of the maneuver of the major and to offer a perfect support for the bimini ones, loudspeakers of bathtub and illumination of the stern. A perfect solution that manages to avoid ends thrown by the ground being hindered the habitability.

The support of the anchor has been designed to be able to equip an asymmetric Code zero or spi without needing installing no boom.

The good design of the boat offers a satisfactory passage of wave and with a fresh wind and sea somewhat shaken, the GPS shows a real speed of 8.5 knots in fitted and near 12 knots with lifting winds, remaining everybody perfectly dry and without receiving not one roción! To motor cruises of 7.5 2,400 are obtained knots to rpms that they can raise 9.5 knots if we took its motor of 150 CB to 3,200 revolutions. The interior is spectacular, with a panoramic view and luminosity without comparison in which it emphasizes the space and inner volume. That sensation of `finished lowering to the cave' as it happens in the majority of the sailboats. The heights of the ceilings will leave him totally perplex because it reaches the 2.40 meters in the hall. The kitchen equipped with a surrounding worktop in the form of `C' offers closets of impressive capacity.

In stern we arrived at the cabin of the ample and very cosy shipbuilder, with an exceptional separated individual and skillful bath of great size. The ample letter table is next to a comfortable sofa, all this in front of the main table of the hall that is surrounded by another sofa. In prow, we found other two cabins, with beds more double and another one with bunk, sharing two new baths.
