VOR 70 - 2.008: Beasts in the sea

The modifications in the present boats come from the change in the rules of design for the VOR70. Changes that tend to avoid the problems that knew some the boats of the past edition and simultaneously to equip them with more power and therefore speed. The naval engineers have worked it last to know in detail the tensions which are put under these boats when they glide in stern of wave to wave. The result has been the one of helmets that offer major reliability because the weight of the bulb in 7.400 kilos has been reduced to the displacement until the 14 tons leaving. Many failures in the VOR of the past edition were related to the pendular keels. Therefore the new norm forces to design boats without movable fairings around the union luffs with the helmet and without hatchways of the keel. The warlike plane has been simplified, which does not avoid that altogether they take guardaropa of 24 different candles, and among them a Zero Code to improve the yield with slight winds.
