Marine reserves

Denia - Portichol - Moraira - Port of Campomanes - Marine of Alicante - Island of Tabarca - Santa Pola - Altea - Denia

This route crosses some of the most interesting Marine Reserves of the Valencian Community

DAY 1: Denia - Portichol Island

If you have been able to comply the same Friday in the evening, will initiate way towards the South. Before arriving at the Bay of Javea, they will have sailed by the impressive ones cut of the Cabo of San Antonio, Marine Natural Reserve, where birds nest black cormorants among others. Crossed the Bay of Javea and surpassed the Cabo of San Martin, they will have arrived at Cala of the Portichol, to cast anchor safe from the Island of Portichol.

 

 

 

DAY 2: Island Portichol - Moraira

From Portichol towards the South a coastal navigation of the maximum interest is developed. Surpassing the Black Cabo, we will be in the introduction of the Cabo of the Nao. Deserts to eat in Cala Granadella, to continue navigation in the evening until the Portet de Moraira or the Club Nautical of Moraira.

 

 

 

 

 

DAY 3: Moraira - Campomanes Port

We will dedicate the morning to sail towards the Rock of Ifach, that also is Marine Reserve to enter the Club Nautical of Calpe to eat. In the evening, we will sail by the cove of Altea, having stopped to sleep in the Sport Port Luis Campomanes.

 

DAY 4: Port of Campomanes - Marine of Alicante

We will pass the day sailing towards Alicante, crossing the cove of Altea and the cut ones of the Frozen Mountain range, to cast anchor in the Marine Natural Reserve of the Island of Benidorm. In the evening we will sail towards the Navy of Alicante.

 

 

DAY 5: Navy of Alicante - Island of Tabarca

We cross the Bay of Alicante until arriving at the Island of Tabarca, Marine Natural Reserve. In Tabarca it is forced to taste its particular rice. We will return to sleep to the peninsula, concretely to Santa Pola

 

 

 

DAY 6: Santa Pola - Altea

Supported in prevailing winds of the South, we will in the evening initiate the return way towards the North, stopping now in Altea the Beautiful one (the Old man), refuge of European artists, plagued of good restaurants in its small streets.

 

DAY 7: Altea - Denia

We retake the way of return to Denia to 8:30 h., autopilot and motor, to arrive at the time of eating to the Sardinera cove in Javea. Towards 16:00 h. we will weigh the anchor for the last time to sail solely with Genoa under the Cabo of San Antonio, with racheado wind
