Triple test: range Oceanis 40, 43 and 46

All of them designed by Berret-Racopeau in collaboration with the cabinet of Italian design Nauta Desing for the interiors. A sinérgico result where the luxurious and extensive finished ones conjugate with modern and attractive lines in accordance with the high reliability and benefits that the prestigious French shipyard offers.

We compared if them with previous the Oceanis, we will observe that a clear renovation as much of lines as of configuration in cover to the style has taken place “pilothouse”. Double wheel of rudder, more fluid circulations in bathtub, cleared entrances more, and much luminosity and space in its interiors.
The construction is robust in fiber glass with sandwich of raft in the cover and reinforcements of the helmet with contramolde that absorbs the most important efforts in the points of greater work, like are the axis of the rudder, the large stone bench of the motor, the keel and the points that support the tension of the rigging. The careening has been optimized improving the water entrance in the prow which smooths out its marine behavior.

It enters steering positions both and in half of the bathtub an ample table has been had folding wings with refrigerator and a taking of current of type burner in which we will be able to connect an outside light or any other I separate electrical. In the base of the table is a console with screen of instruments that can be oriented towards the rudder wheel in which we are piloting the boat. All the controls of the candles correctly have been resent so that we will be able to perfectly govern the boat without leaving cockpit.
The passage of the bathtub to the bath platform is very comfortable and in this last one we found the stairs of bath, fresh water shower and a small covered central zone in teka.

In the interiors and under the cover the height varies from 1.9 meters in Oceanis 40, 1.95 meters for Oceanis 43 and to 2 meters for model 46. Benéteau has worked very it last in creating a luminous inner atmosphere and with space. For it new the Oceanis has altogether up to 24 luminous sources between windows, skylights, openings and bulwarks.

The access to the motor under the entrance stairs correctly isolates the noise and its vibrations that stay acceptably at a level under even in the stern cabins, from which it is possible also to be acceded of lateral form to the engine compartment, that in the three models drives the boat by means of bronze fixed helix of 3 shovels.
OCEANIS 40

Direct heir of the Oceanis to clipper 393 with a displacement lightened in 100 kilos until the 7.78 tons and 75 meters squared of candles. Following the version in 2 either 3 cabins we will find a kitchen with organized form of “Or” or of linear form.

OCEANIS 43

It comes to replace Clipper 423 moving a little more until 9140kg, against 8800kg of his predecessor, but of just form since Oceanis 43 is a little more width which improves its habitability. 89 meters squared of candles and interiors that can be chosen between two to extend cabins or in version 3 cabins.

OCEANIS 46

This new model moves 10 tons that to candle are driven by a warlike plane of up to 101 meters square. Also it can be chosen enters versions 2 or 3 cabins and net we will verify the gain of amplitude thanks to the 2 meters of additional length with respect to model 40. Not only in the inner one because we will discover an ample and extremely extensive bathtub. In Oceanis 46 the kitchen has been designed in the form of “Or” in its two versions which allows to enjoy a very comfortable distribution an ample and pleasant hall.

Oceanis 46 has been designed with unique backstay unlike its brothers 40 and 43 equipped with double backstay. The access to the bathtub from the bath platform is displaced to a band instead of the central step of both previous models.
Sailing
In all of them we will find 4 winches of maneuvers although of different suitable powers from each length. Anyone of the 3 models is a good boat of cruise but with energetic character that will begin to arise as soon as we begin to take wind of force 4. In anyone of them we will be able to take besides the greater candle and Genoa to genaker mounted preferably in a coiler of the Facnor type. The studied careening will allow speeds us of navigation that do not offer place to doubts, with respect to its good benefits. For example the 43, with a little less than 20 wind knots will be surely sailing and firmness to near 12 knots. Thanks to the double rudder we can be pierced in the suitable band winning in visibility with which we anticipated ourselves perfectly to the waves.
