42 OCEANIS CC Clipper (BENETEAU- France) 

At the end of years 80 range was born from sailboats of cruise BENETEAU. Its success was sudden; hundreds of sold units. One of the revolutionary characteristics was the existence of practicable large windows on the cabin, which provided a luminosodad and ventilation to this cabin. Of this time it is Oceanis 320, 350 and 390. At the end of the 90, these hatchways disappeared of range, and again they have appeared in the new OCEANIS (393, 473 and 42 CC).

The Oceanis 42 CC Clipper replaces successful Oceanis 40 CC, and has increased its length with respect to this model. It has won mainly in the zone that is after the prote'ge'e central bathtub, where we now found a zone of cover of greater amplitude, and on her, an ingenious and attractive innovation: a classic mirror of stern, that becomes a magnificent platform of folding bath. Also it has increased the height of the huts, eliminating themselves you give, and giving them a sensation of security when journeying by the cover.

Robust and very marine aspect, with determine the proportions and resistant maneuver on. The bathtub centers is very protected, with possibility of locating the wheel in back-to-back stern or to the house, both comfortable and efficient ones.  The cover includes that series of large windows nonpracticable frontals, of equal the other two design that Oceanis more recent (393 and 473). The house is very attractive, clean and of smooth lines, and leaves space so that totally free lateral corridors exist, very safe. In prow there is an excellent coffer of anchors, of double covers and outer windlass, of great capacity, and that is surrounded by an open balcony.

Since we have already mentioned, the stern occupies a great surface, apt to be used like solarium, and that communicates with an interesting platform of I bleat retractable, sight in boats of a greater length, than as much deserves 10 in design as in functionality. (this platform is very similar to the one of the Wauquiez 40 Pilot House).

The interior of this model is perfect for the life on board during long stays. Two double staterooms to prow and stern with of four bath deprived, great central hall (with sofa at the same level that the ground, not like in 40CC), good letter table and a kitchen in the port band, around the bathtub, worthy of a earth apartment.

The camera of the motor is gigantic, and allows to mount generator, conditioned air and heating without space problems and access.

580 liters of water, 240 of diesel oil, and 3 batteries allow pleasant cruises of many days.
