New features Evinrude E-TEC - 2.006

THAT NEW FEATURES THERE IS IN MODELS E-TEC V4 and V6 60º?

Quieter: the advances in the technology of new models ETEC offer a greater effectiveness in the reduction of the sound thanks partly to an outpost foams in three dimensions; a tuned box of silencing acoustic that reduces the escape sound dramatically; a sleeve of a piece in the rudder that seals the zone of the arm and reduces the sound at the same time as the water entrance; and finally, an outpost air intake the cover of the motor that reduces to the levels operation sound and maintains the water outside.

RANGE AVERAGE - E-TEC 60cv

New model E-TEC 60 reunites to all the benefits of 40/50 models CB E-TEC with the addition of four great advances:

- Lodging of the escape in a single piece: the simplification of the design with less pieces in its elaboration allows to avoid the corrosion and the flights, being the result a quieter motor. This advance is the fruit of a powerful software CFD.

- Water Valve in the escape: it tunes the escape for power to total gas and improves the torsion to average regime.

- Extreme RFI low: that it eliminates the interference with the attack electronics.

Evinrude E-TEC 60 is an agile and compact motor. Thanks to a system of combustion totally stratified, combined with the management module electróncia of motor EMM, the ETEC it consumes less combistible in any situation or any load.

As much the admission as the escape is optimized from the acoustic point of view; in addition, a foam coating contributes to cushion the sound. On the other hand it does not need running, thanks to the cylinder linings rectified of boron-nitrite, that are able to maintain an oil layer in the walls.

In referecia to the average range of motors, the line Evinrude E-TEC will be available in 2 cylinders in line in models 40 - 50 and 60 CB; and in 3 cylinders in line in 75 and 90 CB

The most remarkable characteristics of the new model are:

- V4 of 60º with 1.7 liters of piston displacement: he is considerably lighter than the majority of motors of other manufacturers, which is translated in a greater acceleration and speeds end superiors.
