   1. ABN Love 1 - Holland

     Skipper: Mike Sanderson (NZ). Navigator: Stan Honey (the USA). Designer: Juan Kouyoumdjian (Arg.) Construction: Killian Bushe (IRL.). Professional crew who has competed in numerous transoceanic races.

   2. ABN Love 2 - Holland

     Skipper: Sebastien Josse (Fra). Navigator: Simon Fisher (UK). Designer: Juan Kouyoumdjian (Arg.) Construction: Killian Bushe (IRL.). 4 crew are professional the rest were selected between 1,800 candidates, no surpasses the 30 years.

   3. ERICSSON RACING TEAM - Sweden

     Skipper: Neal McDonald (UK). Navigator: Steve Hayles (UK). Designer: Farr Yacht Design. Construction: Green Marine (UK). The regatistas Richard Brisius and Johan Salen, as well as Magnus Olson participates in this project. Between his crew he is Guillermo Altadill, the Spanish whom more returning to the world he has given in competition.

   4. TEAM PIRATE - The United States

     Skipper: Paul Cayard (the USA). Navigator: Julian Slater (UK). Designer: Farr Yacht Design. Construction: Green Marine (UK). Walt Disney has wanted to support this project and to sponsor Pirates of the Caribbean.

   5. BRAZIL 1 - Brazil

     Skipper: Torben Graël (Br.). Navigator: Adrienne Cahalan (Aust.). Designer:  Farr Yatch Dessign. Construction: ML Boatwaorks (Br.) The champion of the world in the Star modality, Alan Adler will be ordered with Torben Grael. They form an equipment with Olympic experience, among them honors the Spanish Chunny Bermúdez who participates by third time in this regata.

   6. PREMIER CHALLENGE - Australia

     Skipper: Grant Wharington (Aust.). Designer Don Jones (Aust.). Construction: Hart Marine (Aust.). Grant Wharlington has participated in the last edition and numerous Sydney-Hobart.

   7. MOVISTAR - Spain

     Skipper: Bouwe Bekking (Hol). Navigator: Andrew Cape (Aust.). Designer Farr Yatch Design. Construction: Boatspeed (Aust.). Pedro Fields, 10 times champion of the world, and Bouwe Bekking will pilot VO 70.
