From the Beacon of Salmedina that the navigators coming from the Straits must leave starboard, the course can be taken 67º to cutting to the alignment formed by the buoy nº1 of the marking of buoys of the channel of the Port of Seville, well-known by “the Dog”, and the green light of the Port of Chipiona, point in which can be neglected to the same. The distance from Salmedina to the port is of 2.5 miles.

Those that sails from the West, will saturate in “the Peak” buoy and from they will neglect here towards bocana of the port.

This port, by its position, constitutes the shelter next to the sea, which causes that the access is in favor very conditional of the current of tide and the surges of the third and fourth quadrant. The race of tide in the port is of 3.4 TM. and it has floating dockages.
