Check List:

There are a few basic rules before starting off to sail:

• To review the meteorological conditionses of the zone: by means of the offices of the port, Internet, presses, television, etc.
• To verify fuel level: The rule of 1/3: it calculates that you must have the sufficient fuel to be able to reserve 1/3 for the going, 1/3 for return and 1/3 of reserve.
• Basic revision of the motor: Water strap, levels, taking, alarms, etc.
• To verify potable water: You must always on board take sufficient potable water for the programmed passage, besides a reserve extra.
• To verify electronics and communications: it sounds, gps, VHF, movable telephone, etc.
• To indicate in the offices of the port the destiny, identifying duration of the passage and other data.
• To review the security equipment: vests (been and situation), raft, bengalas, etc.
• In sailboats, to review the rigging and candles.
• Documentation: it must take the regulation of his title and the boat, according to the effective legislation.
