CALENDAR 32ª America Glass corresponding to 2,004 - 2,007 will consist of a program of four years of Pre-Regatas, besides the Louis Vuitton Glass and the Defense of the Glass. From 2004 to 2007, all the participant boats will compete to each other. Although they will only be puntuables regatas of Louis Vuitton, all the equipment will have to attend the calls “Pre-Regatas” that will be realized during these years. The Pre-Regatas will be realized in several places of Europe and North America. This new program will allow to approach the America Glass different countries, instead of to center it everything in the country of the Defending equipment of the Glass. These events will allow the equipment to know themselves and to be moderate. The Acts of opening will be a mixture of regatas abiertas of fleet and “Match-RACE”. Each Act will be acquiring importance according to we approach the 2007. Each test will score like element to elaborate the ranking of the first tests of the Louis Vuitton Glass. The last Act will be one regata of fleet for all the participants. After that, Defensores or Challengers will fight themselves in Louis Vuitton to decide who will face the equipment of the Alinghi. With this new exposition of the America Glass, a continuity between an edition is obtained and following, the boats will be able to train during more time and so the crew will adapt better and in the end the spectacle will be greater. The negative point in all this will be the wearing down of the boats and the equipment.
