Victory for Movistar

An important victory for the Movistar with which second place in the general ratifies his. Pepe Ribes could not hide to his satisfaction “This has been one regata very exciting and very special. From the beginning we knew to stay in the first position, establishing a considerable advantage on the rest of the fleet. After the first buoy we could extend the leadership and after the second stern we already felt very comfortable. Regata has been one in which there are been very safe because the boat responded very well and in addition we have not committed any failure”.

Regata took place with slight and changing wind with falls until the 5 knots and constant rolls, which has helped the boats Officers' Club of Revolutionary Armed Forces that sail better in these conditions.

The Movistar has prevailed of clear form leaving to the fight by the second place between the Brasil1 and the Pirates. Finally the Brazilians took control of the second put when defending itself at any moment of the attacks of the Pirates of the Caribbean one.

Ericsson took control of 4º place, in spite of to have sallied wonderful in 1º position until the first beacon of the race.

The worse thing was for the ABNs that did 5º (ANB2) and 6º place (ABN1), closing the classification the Australians just incorporated, whose boat at the moment is financed by Brunel and therefore no longer they are called the equipment Ing.
