The port of Ayamonte is located on the Guadiana river, in the matting of Pinillos, integrating itself with great harmony in the urban helmet. Navigation from the South end of the dock of Real Vila from San Antonio to this port is of 3 miles. The ship canal is placed near the dock to approximate course NNW.

Before reaching this end the delta of the Guadiana is crossed, very transformed by the levees. It agrees to have a good knowledge on the tides of this zone, with the tide ebb tide rompientes take place, and on the situation updated of low the existing ones in the access channel, where the maximum low tide openwork is of 2,5m.
