Alaska 17. Security without conditions

  The shipyard the Yacht Riviera presents/displays east Trawler to us of almost 17 meters of length and a right balance between benefits, design and security.

  The helmet of design inspired by the boats of fishing of lobster of the seas of the Pacific as much in Alaska as in Canada gives to origin to the name of this model, very marine thanks to its careening in `V' in flat prow and in stern, being a semidisplacement boat, with a structural quality totally outside the common thing. Constructed in fiber glass and resin of high quality, the used average thickness in its construction triples the one of boats of the same length but of other shipyards, obtaining results not known in rigidity and hardness, able to confront with tranquility any sea disturbance.

  The cover is clean and of great attractive, with cleared and ample spaces. From stern and to both bands two corridors surround the cabin by Alaska 17 giving access to the solarium and to the zone of prow of very safe form given the height of the freeboard. The cover in teka until prow obtains an elegant aspect and warm and to both sides of the solarium we found banister rails, that like the peripheral railing is made in steel inox. Next to the boom a powerful windlass of 2000 w., allows to handle to the anchor and facility surely.

  The bath platform is ample to its side of starboard allows to unfold bath stairs to accede comfortably to the water.

 In the hall, starboard a sofa in “L”, port an equipped linear kitchen with furnace faces a table capacity for 6 guests and all the comforts that a boat of this category usually offers.

  Their two Cummins motors diesel of 2 450 xs CB allow Alaska 17 to reach the 23 knots of terminal velocity although the cruise speed is of about 18 knots. He is very governable thanks to his double rudder of great effectiveness, in addition being the very separated axes to each other, cigaboga is realized very easily, with or without cross-sectional wind. 

  In the interior, a sofa in `L' faces a table capacity for 6 guests together in front of the equipped kitchen furnace and all the comforts that a boat of this category usually offers.
